And so it began.

I've never met a happier group of people to leave home. Spirits increase drastically on tour, as though our home is in this cramped, smelly, messy automobile. I've missed it. Alot. The shitty smell. The gummy candies. The Cheesy Gordita Crunches substitute beans. The backseat banter of that always resolves in either the words "Just the tip to see how it feels!" or "Ima beat that pussy up!". It's a whole new level of class and sophistication.

We left Seattle at about 9 last night. We were supposed to leave around 4, but such is the nature of a group full of procrastinators. I took the crazy shift of driving from midnight 'til 6am. The big payoff is going through the Siskew Mountains at Sunset, It's a really breathtaking sight. The only bummer about the whole drive is that CD player is busted and we have yet to procure an iTrip, so I've heard "Stray Cat Strut" and "Baby I Love Your Way" about 7 times today, and that's approx. 7 times more than needed.

A few problems already have arose. The aforementioned scrim banners (2 blogs down) didn't show up until today. Problem is they are in Seattle and we are in L.A. What a mess. Also, in case no one noticed, gas is really fucking expensive. If you come to one of the shows and you really like t-shirts and CD's, why don't you buy one? It would help our cause tremendously. This gas situation is rough on bands like this who are still working modestly. Tip our merch girl too. She's a sweety. In fact... just give us your wallets! Homies gotta eat!

and now for peak-tures of the day:
